How it Works

How Naphazoline, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Phenylephrine, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Menthol, and Camphor work Naphazoline, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Phenylephrine, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Menthol, and Camphor is a combination of six medications. Naphazoline and Phenylephrine are decongestants that work by narrowing the blood vessels in the eye to relieve inflammation, including redness and swelling. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antihistamine that blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, and teary eyes. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricating agent similar to natural tears, providing temporary relief from burning and discomfort. Menthol and Camphor contribute a cooling effect to the eye.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Naphazoline, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Phenylephrine, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Menthol, and Camphor include eye irritation, burning eyes, and stinging in the eyes.
