Uses

Bempedoic acid and Rosuvastatin are used in the treatment of high cholesterol.

How it Works

How Bempedoic Acid and Rosuvastatin Work Bempedoic acid and rosuvastatin is a combination of two medications. Rosuvastatin inhibits an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase, which slows cholesterol production in the body, reducing the amount of cholesterol that can accumulate on the walls of the arteries and obstruct blood flow to the heart, brain, and other parts of the body.
