How it works
Uriride 0.4mg Capsule MR is an alpha blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. This helps empty the bladder completely and reduces the need to pass urine frequently or urgently in BPH.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Uriride 0.4mg Capsule MR as it is deemed unsafe.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Uriride 0.4mg Capsule MR is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Uriride 0.4mg Capsule MR is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Uriride 0.4mg Capsule MR is not indicated for use in women.
SAFE - Uriride 0.4mg Capsule MR does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Uriride 0.4mg Capsule MR is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Uriride 0.4mg Capsule MR is recommended. However, limited information is available on the use of Uriride 0.4mg Capsule MR in patients with end stage kidney disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
Caution Advised: Uriride 0.4mg Capsule MR should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Uriride 0.4mg Capsule MR may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Uriride 0.4mg Capsule MR is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
