In Cough Orex-D Syrup gives relief from cough by loosening thick mucus and making it easier to cough it out. It also makes it easier for air to move in and out of your airways. This reduces the frequency of coughing and makes you feel better. Orex-D Syrup also relieves allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or throat irritation. This medicine usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by the doctor. Along with medications, drink enough luke warm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.

Orex-D Syrup is a combination of six medicines:Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Guaifenesin, Ammonium Chloride, Sodium Citrate and Menthol. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Guaifenesin, Ammonium Chloride and Sodium Citrate help in the removal of mucus (phlegm) from the airways. Menthol produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation.
