How to use

How it works
Nitrohart Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Isosorbide dinitrate and Hydralazine. Isosorbide dinitrate is a nitrate which relaxes the blood vessels and decreases the oxygen demand of the heart. Hydralazine is a potassium channel opener which acts as an antioxidant and lessens tolerance to isosorbide dinitrate, thereby preserving its capacity to relax blood vessels. Together, they improve symptoms of heart failure.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Nitrohart Tablet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Nitrohart Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Nitrohart Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Not Safe: Nitrohart Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. As Nitrohart Tablet may cause headaches or lead to difficulty in concentration and this may affect your ability to drive.
Caution Advised: Nitrohart Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nitrohart Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for better dose adjustment.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Nitrohart Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Nitrohart Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Nitrohart Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
