How to use

How it works
Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger called leukotriene. This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms. Fexofenadine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of another chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.
Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking Montecip FX 10 Tab 10's .
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Montecip FX 10 Tab 10's may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Montecip FX 10 Tab 10's is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
UNSAFE - Montecip FX 10 Tab 10's may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
CAUTION - Montecip FX 10 Tab 10's should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Montecip FX 10 Tab 10's may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. May cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Montecip FX 10 Tab 10's is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Montecip FX 10 Tab 10's may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Montecip FX 10 Tab 10's is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
