Metital 250 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Metformin and Myoinositol, which treats polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) in females. Metformin is an antidiabetic medicine which helps regulate hormones in PCOS by balancing insulin levels. This regularizes menstruation and ovulation cycles. Myo-inositol is a naturally occurring messenger which ensures proper binding of insulin to its receptors and regulates the signaling that follows the binding process. Like this, it improves body?s response to insulin, and improves hormone balance.

Metital 250 Tablet is generally started with low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Metital 250 Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
