What are the early symptoms of ALS?
Early symptoms of ALS include muscle twitches, cramps, stiffness, weakness in limbs, slurred speech, and difficulty chewing or swallowing. Symptoms often first appear in the hands or arms, affecting simple tasks, or in the legs, causing awkwardness while walking.
Why do many veterans and athletes get ALS?
Exposure to toxins during military service and the physical demands of athletic activity may increase the risk of ALS in veterans and athletes.
What should I tell my doctor before taking Edaravone?
