How to use
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Bosentas 125 Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How it works
Bosentas 125 Tablet is an endothelin receptor blocker. It blocks the action of endothelin (a natural substance) that causes blood vessels to narrow (constrict). This narrowing increases the pressure in the blood vessels of the lungs. Bosentas 125 Tablet helps relax these blood vessels and increases the supply of blood to the lungs.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Bosentas 125 Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Not Safe: Bosentas 125 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Bosentas 125 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Not Safe: Bosentas 125 Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. As Bosentas 125 Tablet can induce hypotension (decrease of your blood pressure) which can make you feel dizzy and this can affect your ability to drive.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Bosentas 125 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Bosentas 125 Tablet is recommended.
Caution Advised: Bosentas 125 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Bosentas 125 Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Bosentas 125 Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Bosentas 125 Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
