It decreases the fluid (aqueous humor) production in the eye which relieves the pressure in the eye. Travacom Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Check the label thoroughly for directions before use. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Use of this medicine may cause burning sensation, stinging, and irritation at the application site. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. However, if they persist or get worse, inform your doctor. In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it with water. Inform your doctor if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this medicine or if you are taking any other medication. It is advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery immediately after using this medicine as it may cause temporary blurring of vision and may affect your ability to drive.

In Treatment of Glaucoma Glaucoma is an eye disease that damages the optic nerve which is essential for proper vision. This damage is often caused by an abnormally high pressure in the eye. Travacom Eye Drop is used to reduce swelling and pressure inside the eye. This helps prevent complications of glaucoma such as blindness and improves the vision. This medicine may be used alone or with other eye drops. Glaucoma cannot be prevented. Frequent monitoring, regular checkups can help detect the disease in its early stages. In Treatment of Ocular hypertension Ocular hypertension is a condition where the pressure inside the eye is higher than normal eye pressure due to fluid build-up. Travacom Eye Drop increases the flow of fluid from inside the eye into the bloodstream thereby lowering the increased eye pressure. This prevents further damage or complications such as change in vision or even loss of vision. You should only use Travacom Eye Drop in the affected eye and take it regularly as prescribed by your doctor.

Travacom Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Timolol and Travoprost. Timolol is a beta blocker while Travoprost is a prostaglandin analogue. They work by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.

If you forget a dose of Travacom Eye Drop , simply continue with your regular schedule and do not take a double dose.
Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C
Travacom Eye Drop helps lower high pressure in the eye and reduces the risk of vision loss. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. After applying Travacom Eye Drop, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
