If a dose of Tipanat 6.14mg/15mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
Avoid the use of antacids within two hours of taking this medicine. Drink plenty of water every 24 hours after the start of the treatment. You may be at risk of infection so try to avoid crowds or people with colds, and report fever or any other signs of infection immediately to your doctor. To help treat/prevent mouth sores, use a soft toothbrush and rinse your mouth at least 3 times a day with saline water. To reduce nausea, take anti-nausea medications as prescribed by your doctor, and eat small, frequent meals. Eat foods that may help reduce diarrhea and take adequate rest. Use contraceptives, and do not conceive a child (get pregnant) while taking Tipanat 6.14mg/15mg Tablet. Barrier methods of contraception, such as condoms should be used during therapy and for 6 months after treatment.
