Diarrhea

This medicine can relieve frequent loose motions and also help you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

Diloxanide is combined with tinidazole in case of severe intestinal infections. Tinidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.

Alcohol

Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Tinidil 250 mg/300 mg/25 mg Tablet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.

Pregnancy

You have been prescribed Tinidil 250 mg/300 mg/25 mg Tablet for the treatment of diarrhea. Diarrhea can cause water loss and electrolyte imbalance. Drink plenty of fluids especially ORS (oral rehydration solution) to help keep you hydrated. Consult your doctor if your diarrhea lasts for more than 48 hours. Do not use Tinidil 250 mg/300 mg/25 mg Tablet if you have blood in your stool or if you are severely constipated.
