In Myasthenia gravis Myasthenia gravis is a neuromuscular disorder that leads to weakness of muscles that are under our control, such as those of the eyes, face, and swallowing. It can result in double vision, drooping eyelids, trouble talking, and trouble walking. It happens due to impaired coordination between muscles and nerves. Tilstigmin Tablet makes this coordination between nerves and muscles better and relieves the symptoms. As a result, your muscle strength is improved and you are able to lead a better life. In Paralytic ileus Paralytic ileus is the obstruction of the intestines due to improper functioning of the nerves and muscles in the intestine that impairs digestive movement. Tilstigmin Tablet induces contractions in the intestinal muscles and improves their function. As a result, there is better movement of food and this treats the obstruction. Take it as advised by the doctor and follow your doctor?s instructions carefully. In Post-operative urinary retention After an operation, there may be problems in emptying the bladder. This may be due to disturbed coordination of nerves and muscles of the bladder. Tilstigmin Tablet helps to improve this problem and treats post-operative urinary retention effectively. In Reversal of effect of skeletal muscle relaxant after surgery Skeletal muscle relaxants are given to induce anesthesia and to carry out surgical or certain diagnostic procedures. This blocks the conduction of signals between nerves and muscles. After the surgery, Tilstigmin Tablet is given to reverse this effect and cause muscle contraction again to restore normal function.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tilstigmin Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Tilstigmin Tablet is a reversible cholinesterase inhibitor. When taken by mouth it increases the level of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger in the brain, by suppressing acetylcholinesterase (enzyme). This acetylcholine further triggers muscle contracting receptors which helps in muscle contraction.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Tilstigmin Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Tilstigmin Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Tilstigmin Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: It is not known whether Tilstigmin Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Caution Advised: Tilstigmin Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tilstigmin Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Regular monitoring of kidney function test and some blood tests may advised while you are taking this medicine.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Tilstigmin Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Tilstigmin Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Tilstigmin Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
