How Stilnoct Tablet works Stilnoct 12.5mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called non-benzodiazepine hypnotics. It has hypnotic, sedative, and anticonvulsant (manages fits) properties. It works by binding of the�GABAA�receptor chloride channel macromolecular complex (a chemical messenger) that slows the activity of the nerve cells in the brain and helps fall asleep.
Stilnoct 12.5mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Stilnoct 12.5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Stilnoct 12.5mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Stilnoct 12.5mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Stilnoct 12.5mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Stilnoct 12.5mg Tablet is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease.

Doctor consultation is advised.Stilnoct 12.5mg Tablet is generally started at a low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
