How Simspas Oral Suspension works Simspas Oral Suspension is a mixture of two active medicines Dicyclomine, an antispasmodic agent, and Simethicone, an antifoaming medicine. Dicyclomine works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving abdominal cramps and pain. Whereas, Simethicone disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.

Kidney

Simspas Oral Suspension is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Simspas Oral Suspension is recommended.However, Simspas Oral Suspension should be used with caution in children with severe kidney disease. Discuss with your child�s doctor thoroughly before giving this medicine to your child.

Liver

Simspas Oral Suspension is safe to use in patients with liver disease. Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, you can administer the missed dose once you recall it. However, if it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Stick to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid giving a double dose to make up for the missed one.

The other associated symptoms can be a headache, nausea, anorexia vomiting, and pallor. Since Simspas Oral Suspension is strictly for abdominal pain, rule out such types of pain before giving this medicine.
