Rozucor D 20 mg/1000 IU Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Rosuvastatin and Vitamin D3 which treat high cholesterol. Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-Co A-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Vitamin D3 is added to relieve the muscular pain caused by Rosuvastatin.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Rozucor D 20 mg/1000 IU Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Not Safe: Rozucor D 20 mg/1000 IU Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
