These include infections of the ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and eye in adults and children. It is also used for treating typhoid fever and some sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea. It works by stopping the growth of the bacteria causing the infection.This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.
How to use Roxydiz Tablet DTFollow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Roxydiz 150 Tablet DT is to be taken empty stomach.
How Roxydiz Tablet DT works Roxydiz 150 Tablet DT is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.
Safe: No harmful side effects are associated with consuming alcohol alongside Roxydiz 150 Tablet DT
Roxydiz 150 Tablet DT is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Roxydiz 150 Tablet DT is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Roxydiz 150 Tablet DT may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Roxydiz 150 Tablet DT is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Roxydiz 150 Tablet DT may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
Roxydiz 150 Tablet DT should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Roxydiz 150 Tablet DT may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Roxydiz 150 Tablet DT is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
