In Treatment of Tuberculosis (TB) Rimpek Plus 450 mg/300 mg Tablet is a combination of medicines that is used to treat tuberculosis, an infectious disease that mainly affects the lungs but can affect other parts of the body as well. How it works
Rimpek Plus 450 mg/300 mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Rifampicin and Isoniazid, which treats tuberculosis (TB). Rifampicin works by inactivating a bacterial enzyme (RNA-polymerase) which is required by TB bacteria to make essential proteins and to reproduce. Isoniazid prevents these bacteria from forming their own protective covering. Together, they kill the bacteria and eradicate the infection.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Rimpek Plus 450 mg/300 mg Tablet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.

Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Rimpek Plus 450 mg/300 mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
