In Prevention of Rubella Rubella is a very contagious disease caused by a virus. It is characterized by a red rash and is also called German measles or three-day measles. Rubella can be prevented by R-VAC Vaccine. It is very safe and effective. Getting vaccinated is the best way to protect against measles. R-VAC Vaccine is a routine vaccination that children should receive. Consult your doctor to get it administered as an injection. It should not be self-administered.
