How PD Lyte P Infusion works PD Lyte P Infusion is a combination of six medicines: Calcium Phosphate, Dextrose, Magnesium, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Acetate, and Sodium Metabisulphite. They work by restoring blood plasma lost due to severe bleeding. Plasma is required to circulate red blood cells that deliver oxygen throughout the body.
