Norfagyl Plus Oral Suspension is given to treat various bacterial infections. Stick to simple meals, avoid rich or spicy food and drink plenty of water while taking this medicine. Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Norfagyl Plus Oral Suspension. It can reduce the effectiveness of the oral typhoid vaccine. If you are due to have any vaccinations, make sure the person treating you knows that you are taking this antibiotic. If you are having surgery, including dental surgery, tell the doctor or dentist that you are taking Norfagyl Plus Oral Suspension. If you are taking any contraceptive 'pill' at the same time as this antibiotic, the effectiveness of the 'pill' can be reduced if you have a bout of being sick (vomiting) which lasts for more than 24 hours. In such a case, ask your doctor for additional contraceptive measures.
