It blocks certain chemicals that causes pain and swelling. By reducing pain, it minimizes discomfort and thus improves the quality of your life. Along with painkiller, this medicine also contains an active ingredient called Serratiopeptidase, which is an enzyme that promotes the overall healing process and speeds up recovery. Metagesic SS Tablet works quickly, usually within a few hours. Take it as prescribed to get the most benefit.

Metagesic SS Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Ibuprofen, Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase which relieve pain. They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme which works by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation, and promotes healing.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Metagesic SS Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Driving

Kidney

Caution Advised: Metagesic SS Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Metagesic SS Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Metagesic SS Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Long term use of this medicine can affect the kidney function.

Liver

Caution Advised: Metagesic SS Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Metagesic SS Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. However, the use of Metagesic SS Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If a dose of Metagesic SS Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Metagesic SS Tablet is given to treat various painful conditions. Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea). Drink plenty of water while taking it. Do not take indigestion remedies (antacids) within two hours of taking this medicine. Do not take it with any other pain medicine without asking your doctor first.
