Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Martifur MR 50mg Tablet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Martifur MR 50mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Caution Advised: Martifur MR 50mg Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Not Safe: Martifur MR 50mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Caution Advised: Martifur MR 50mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Martifur MR 50mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Martifur MR 50mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease, who are unable to pass urine or have high creatinine levels.
Caution Advised: Martifur MR 50mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Martifur MR 50mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Martifur MR 50mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Martifur MR 50mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
