Fluvik Plus 0.5mg/10mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How it works
How Fluvik Plus Tablet works Fluvik Plus 0.5mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Flupenthixol and Escitalopram Oxalate which have anxiety-lowering and mood-elevating effects. Flupenthixol is a typical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that affects thoughts and mood. Escitalopram Oxalate is selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger that improves mood.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Fluvik Plus 0.5mg/10mg Tablet.
Fluvik Plus 0.5mg/10mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Fluvik Plus 0.5mg/10mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
