How it works
FA Plus Tablet is a combination of three medicines: doxylamine, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and folic acid, which treats nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy. Doxylamine is an antihistamine which works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby controlling nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is a form of vitamin B which possesses anti-nausea properties. Folic is also a form of vitamin B which provides essential nutrients.
Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking FA Plus Tablet .
Safe when prescribed by an expert: FA Plus Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy. Most studies have shown low or no risk to the developing baby.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: FA Plus Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or prolonged use of FA Plus Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Not Safe: FA Plus Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: FA Plus Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of FA Plus Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of FA Plus Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
