How Digeraft XT Oral Suspension works Digeraft XT Oral Suspension Mint is a combination of two medicines, alginic acid and potassium hydrogen carbonate. Alginic acid forms a protective foam layer that floats on top of the contents of the stomach. This prevents stomach acid from escaping into the food pipe. Potassium hydrogen carbonate neutralizes gastric acid.
Safe: Consuming alcohol with Digeraft XT Oral Suspension Mint does not cause any harmful side effects. However, drinking alcohol can make the stomach produce more acid than normal. This can irritate the stomach lining and worsen the symptoms.
