In Treatment of Dry cough A dry cough is a cough where no phlegm or mucus is produced. It may cause a tickling sensation or itching in the throat and may be due to cold, flu, allergies or throat irritants. Citrikof Syrup suppresses severe dry cough and gives your child relief from an itchy throat. Along with medications, drinking lukewarm water and gargling with warm salt water may also help ease symptoms for your child.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
How can I give Citrikof Syrup to my child?Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Citrikof Syrup can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Citrikof Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, dextromethorphan, and cetirizine which relieve dry cough. Ambroxol is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.

Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, administer the missed dose once recalled. If it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Adhere to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid administering a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
