It also helps to loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. This reduces congestion or stuffiness and helps in easy breathing. This medicine usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Along with medications, drink enough lukewarm water and gargle with warm salt water to feel better.

Azro AM 250mg/60mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Azro AM Tablet works Azro AM 250mg/60mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Azithromycin and Ambroxol which treat respiratory tract infection associated with excessive mucus (phlegm). Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Addition of Ambroxol enhances the antibacterial effect of Azithromycin.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Azro AM 250mg/60mg Tablet.
Azro AM 250mg/60mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
