It is effective for bacterial infections of the throat, ears, urinary tract, skin, soft tissues and typhoid fever. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.

How Ampicix Capsule works Ampicix 250 Capsule is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
Safe: No harmful side effects are associated with consuming alcohol alongside Ampicix 250 Capsule
Ampicix 250 Capsule is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Ampicix 250 Capsule is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Ampicix 250 Capsule does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Ampicix 250 Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ampicix 250 Capsule may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
There is limited information available on the use of Ampicix 250 Capsule in patients with liver disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Ampicix 250 Capsule is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
