How to use Alervas LD Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Alervas LD 300mg/5mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Alervas LD Tablet works Alervas LD 300mg/5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diethylcarbamazine and Levocetirizine which treat filariasis. Diethylcarbamazine works by decreasing the muscular activity and causing paralysis of these worms while Levocetirizine decreases the raised eosinophil count (white blood cells) and controls allergic symptoms like cough and breathlessness.
Not Safe: Consuming alcohol with Alervas LD 300mg/5mg Tablet may lead to excessive drowsiness.
