How it works
Adpep R Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Perindopril and losartan which lower blood pressure effectively. Perindopril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor and losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Adpep R Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Adpep R Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Adpep R Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
