How Temsirolimus works Temsirolimus is a kinase inhibitor that works by blocking the action of the abnormal protein responsible for the multiplication of cancer cells. This may help slow the growth of tumors.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Temsirolimus include nausea, vomiting, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), rash, headache, low blood platelets, breathlessness, fatigue, bacterial infection, decreased white blood cell count, decreased potassium level in the blood, increased glucose level in the blood, cough, viral infection, diarrhea, stomatitis (inflammation of the mouth), constipation, taste changes, and decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils).

Temsirolimus contains high levels of alcohol.
Use caution if you consume alcohol in large quantities.
