How Sulbutiamine works Sulbutiamine is a centrally acting cholinergic medication. It functions by increasing the levels of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger in the brain. This mechanism helps to reduce damage in the brain.

  • Do not skip any doses and complete the full course of treatment, even if you feel better.
