Together with Sodium Picosulfate, it is essential to maintain healthy bowel function by consuming a fiber-rich diet that includes:

Whole grain bread and cereals
Bran
Fruits
Green leafy vegetables

Avoid taking Sodium Picosulfate for more than 1 week unless prescribed by a doctor, as prolonged use may lead to dependency on its laxative effect for bowel movements.
Take Sodium Picosulfate at least 2 hours after other medications, as it may interfere with their absorption.
Sodium Picosulfate should preferably be taken at bedtime, as it requires 6 to 8 hours to take effect.
