  • Together with Sodium Picosulfate, it is essential to maintain healthy bowel function by consuming a fiber-rich diet that includes:
    • Whole grain bread and cereals
    • Bran
    • Fruits
    • Green leafy vegetables
  • Avoid taking Sodium Picosulfate for more than 1 week unless prescribed by a doctor, as prolonged use may lead to dependency on its laxative effect for bowel movements.
  • Take Sodium Picosulfate at least 2 hours after other medications, as it may interfere with their absorption.
  • Sodium Picosulfate should preferably be taken at bedtime, as it requires 6 to 8 hours to take effect.
