Trihexyphenidyl is an anticholinergic that acts on the nervous system to correct some of the chemical imbalances that cause Parkinson's disease and certain side effects associated with antipsychotic treatment.

Common side effects of Risperidone and Trihexyphenidyl include nausea, dry mouth, Parkinsonism, akathisia (inability to stay still), sedation, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), anxiety, dizziness, gastrointestinal symptoms, and blurred vision.
