How Rebamipide works Rebamipide is a mucosal protective agent that increases the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are chemical messengers that enhance the healing of ulcers.
Side Effects
Common side effects of Rebamipide include burping, abdominal pain, nausea, changes in taste, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, heartburn, decreased white blood cell count (lymphocytes), and menstrual disorders.

- It can be taken concurrently with NSAIDs (anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs) to reduce the risk of developing stomach ulcers.
