How it Works

How Rasburicase works Rasburicase functions by interacting with an enzyme that converts uric acid into an inactive substance called allantoin, thereby lowering uric acid levels.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Rasburicase include nausea, headache, vomiting, fever, diarrhea, anxiety, constipation, peripheral edema, abdominal pain, decreased phosphate levels in the blood, pharyngolaryngeal pain, and increased alanine aminotransferase.
