Common side effects of Pimozide include sleepiness, dry mouth, weight gain, constipation, dizziness, decreased appetite, extrapyramidal symptoms, and sedation.

- Exercise caution while driving or performing tasks that require concentration, as Pimozide can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
- Inform your doctor if you experience symptoms such as high fever, sweating, muscle stiffness, or rapid breathing, as these may indicate a rare side effect known as neuroleptic malignant syndrome.
- Do not stop taking Pimozide without consulting your doctor first, as this may lead to a worsening of symptoms.
