How it Works

How Polymyxin B + Neomycin works Polymyxin B + Neomycin is a combination of two medicines: Polymyxin B and Neomycin. Polymyxin B kills bacteria by destroying the bacterial cell membrane. Neomycin inhibits bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for vital functions. Together, they effectively eradicate the infection.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Polymyxin B and Neomycin include a burning sensation at the site of application.
