Side Effects

Common side effects of Nefopam include nausea, dryness of the mouth, vertigo, abdominal pain, diarrhea, sleepiness, sweating, injection site pain, palpitations, and urinary retention.

Expert Advice

Take it at the same time every day, either with or without food.
Complete the full course as prescribed by your doctor, even if you start to feel better.
Be aware that it may cause dizziness or drowsiness.
Do not drive until you understand how Nefopam affects you.
Your doctor will monitor your blood pressure regularly, as the medication may cause a decrease in blood pressure.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
