Metoprolol is a beta blocker that works by slowing down the heart rate, making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor that reduces stress on the heart and relaxes blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more smoothly.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Metoprolol Succinate and Ramipril include cough, dizziness, headache, hypotension (low blood pressure), rash, and muscle pain.

You have been prescribed Metoprolol Succinate + Ramipril for the treatment of high blood pressure.
Metoprolol Succinate + Ramipril may cause dizziness or sleepiness.
Do not drive or engage in activities requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
To reduce the risk of feeling dizzy or fainting, rise slowly from a sitting or lying position.
This medication may increase potassium levels in the blood.
Avoid taking potassium supplements and consuming potassium-rich foods such as bananas and broccoli.
Do not take this medication during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Inform your doctor if you become pregnant while taking this medication.
Do not discontinue the medication suddenly without consulting your doctor, as it may lead to a sudden increase in blood pressure.
