Menotrophin Uses Menotrophin is used in the treatment of female infertility, male hypogonadism, and male infertility.

How it Works

How Menotrophin works Menotrophin is a mixture of hormones. In females, it facilitates the maturation of follicles that contain eggs in the ovaries. This helps treat female infertility caused by improper egg production, known as anovulatory infertility. In males, it increases low sperm count.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Menotrophin include abdominal cramping, abdominal pain, abdominal swelling, headache, injection site allergic reactions, injection site pain, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, and nausea.

  • Menotrophin stimulates the production of eggs in women undergoing treatment for infertility.
