Mecetronium is used to prevent infections.

How Mecetronium works: Mecetronium is an antiseptic that treats infections in the affected area and alleviates irritation.

Common side effects of Mecetronium include hormone imbalance, allergic reactions, slow growth in children and teenagers, and skin irritation.

Do not apply mecetronium near the eyes or open wounds.
Mecetronium solution should not be applied to premature babies and neonates.
Do not keep the solution open or exposed to air, as it may lead to contamination.
Do not keep the solution near electrical sources or naked flames, as it contains alcohol and may catch fire.
Keep the solution out of the reach of children.
Do not use if allergic to mecetronium or any ingredient in the solution.
Not for use in neonates or premature infants.
