How it Works

Sodium sulphate promotes water retention in the bowel and increases the water content of stool, leading to enhanced gastrointestinal motility and smoother evacuation of colonic contents. Potassium sulphate draws significant amounts of water into the colon. Magnesium sulphate exerts an osmotic effect, causing water to be retained in the intestinal lumen.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Sodium Sulphate, Potassium Sulphate, and Magnesium Sulphate include general discomfort, abdominal distension, bloating, nausea, abdominal cramps, and vomiting.
