Loteprednol etabonate is a steroid that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause the eye to become red, swollen, and itchy. Tobramycin is an antibiotic that inhibits bacterial growth in the eye by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to perform vital functions.
Side Effects
Common side effects of Loteprednol etabonate and Tobramycin include superficial punctate keratitis, increased intraocular pressure, burning sensation in the eye, stinging in the eyes, and headache.

- Loteprednol etabonate + Tobramycin is used for the treatment of bacterial skin infections.
- Apply to the affected areas as a thin film, two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor.
- Do not use it more often or for longer than directed by your doctor.
