Sucralfate is an ulcer medication that covers damaged ulcer tissue in the stomach and protects it against acid or injury to facilitate healing. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid in the stomach, relieving acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Light magnesium carbonate is an inorganic salt that neutralizes excess acid in the stomach. Zinc provides essential nutrients.
Common side effects of Sucralfate, Pantoprazole, Zinc, and Light Magnesium Carbonate include diarrhea, nausea, stomach pain, flatulence, constipation, and headache.
