Levosulpiride and Rabeprazole are used in the treatment of intestinal ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux).

How it Works

How Levosulpiride and Rabeprazole Work Levosulpiride is a prokinetic agent that increases the release of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger. This enhances the movement of the stomach and intestines and prevents reflux, which is the backward flow of acid into the esophagus. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach, providing relief from acid-related indigestion and ulcers.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Levosulpiride and Rabeprazole include weakness, flatulence, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, breast enlargement in males, drowsiness, altered libido, absence of menstrual periods, and unusual production of breast milk in both women and men.
