How Mebendazole and Levamisole work Mebendazole and Levamisole is a combination of two medicines: Mebendazole and Levamisole. Mebendazole works by preventing the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), leading to energy loss and death. Levamisole decreases muscle activity, resulting in paralysis of the worms.

Common side effects of Mebendazole and Levamisole include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, dizziness, headache, and increased liver enzymes.
