How it Works

How Folic Acid and Levo-carnitine work Folic Acid and Levo-carnitine is a combination of two medications: Folic Acid and Levo-carnitine. Folic Acid is an anti-anemic medication that replenishes the iron stores in your body. Iron is essential for the formation of new red blood cells and hemoglobin, the substance that enables these cells to transport oxygen. Levo-carnitine belongs to a class of medications known as amino acid derivatives. It works by improving low levels of carnitine in the body.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Folic Acid and Levo-carnitine include nausea and vomiting.
