Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by preventing bacterial cells from dividing and repairing. Ketorolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for pain and inflammation, including redness and swelling.

Expert Advice

Gatifloxacin + Ketorolac must be used according to the dose and duration recommended by your doctor.
If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before administering these eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting your lenses.
Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before applying the next medication in the same eye to prevent dilution.
Gatifloxacin + Ketorolac may cause blurred vision; do not drive or operate machinery until you understand how the medication affects you.
Avoid contact with your nose or mouth. If the drop accidentally gets into these areas, rinse it off with water.
